Veterans’ Response Partnership (VRP)
VRP takes expert help and peer support to veterans facing mental health crisis across Norfolk and Waveney.
Out of hours help is provided by experienced volunteers. Wherever needed, a response car will visit the veteran offering peer support and assessment by a specialist team from Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT), together with help accessing other services.
The aim is to offer the veteran with the support they need with issues such as housing, employment, drug or alcohol problems.
If you are a veteran already working with a forces charity, they will be able to refer you to this service. Alternatively, contact The Walnut Tree Project or call 01603 516 580 and asked to be registered with the VRP.
He was going through physical and mental health issues and was not getting much help. But Luke took him on board and at times has come out at 2am and 3am to help us.
My other half has said he does not think he would be alive without the help he provided. That 01603 516 580 number saves lives. I know that from our personal experience.
