As part of its charitable aims Walnut Tree Health and Wellbeing are offering an Introduction to Mindfulness Workshop/Taster
This is open to everyone over 18 interested in mindfulness training. All participants are invited to attend the taster session prior to any further training.
There is no fee for the two-hour session, but if you would like to make a donation you can do so here or on the day, either with cash or credit card.
If you need anymore information contact us here.
You can attend this workshop as a ‘one-off’ or if you like it and want to continue you can opt for the eight-week course, again there is no fee for this course, but you are welcome to make a donation.
The full course would, normally, cost £220 per person which also includes, certification, paperback book and e-handbook. But is, currently, free to up to 10 members of the local community who feel they might benefit. Click here to read about the benefits of mindfulness training.
For all participants intending to train in mindfulness we have found it useful:
- to explore what mindfulness is and isn’t
- to explain how mindfulness works and the benefits of training
- to raise awareness about mindfulness-based approaches
- to orientate participants as to what the course offers and demands
- to provide you with an opportunity to assess the course and its suitability at this point in your life
